Miracle blanket/swaddlers/sleep sacks

Me again...! Seeking BTDT advice!

I've been working on my registry and wondering just how many of each I need. I'd like to use sleep sacks and I like the idea of swaddling, but I know I'm going to have to play it by ear (ie might have a baby that doesn't like to be swaddled, etc). So how many of each should I do??

I survived w/ one miracle blanket; although 2 would have been better. I used the blankets from the hospital though too, they worked great (I had 3-4 of them).

The sleep saks, I didn't use until she was too big to be swaddled (around 4 months--but then it was summer), so I had 3 of them.

We recieved 1 miracle blanket as a gift then my friend is lending us her son's 2 others.
I'd say 2 def.- its been a lifesaver when DD has had poopie accidents in the middle of the night

we survived on one miracle blanket, but two would have been better. I lived for the MB...

we have 3 miracle blankets-- but only really use 2. We have 3 or 4 regular receiving blankets and a couple of sleep sacks which we have yet to use since we are still swaddling.

We survived on 1 MB but 2 would've been better. We only used it for 5 weeks. We had 1 sleep sack and I ended up going out one day and purchasing 2 more sleep sacks. I say register for 2 of the MB and 2 sacks (sleevless if you're having a spring or summer baby). I wouldn't bother with a swaddle me.

I used 3 receiving blankets for swaddling and about 3 or 4 sleep sacks.

We LOVED the Kiddopatomus Swaddle Me blankets. The velcro prevented DD from breaking out of them.

I'd suggest two of these to start. Then if your baby likes them you can buy a bigger size if needed.

I loved using receiving blankets for swaddling....just make sure you register for the rectangular ones and not the square ones. Lily was teeny tiny and still too big for the stupid square ones.
I never used sleep sacks or miracle blankets, so I'm no help there.

2 Miracle Blankets. Sleepsacks you will use when the baby is a little bigger and no longer swaddled.

We used the hospital blankets for the first few weeks also!

This is what we use since I can't swaddle with a regular receiving blanket! I haven'tried the miracle blanket yet.

DS is prepetually peeing during the night So, we ended up with a whoppin' 8 sleep sacs.

(They're pretty $$ IMO, so get one size larger than you need. We used the Med from age 2 mo-4 mo and are now using XL.... But DS is totally off the charts as far as length is concerned.)

as far as swaddlers... we had a few, but we preferred a good ol' receiving blanket... best part about those is that they're cheap and omnipresent!

I had one miracle blanket and that was good enough for me since DD wound up not really liking it. We never used sleep sacks.

I think we had 3 swaddle mes and now we have 3 sleep sacks. We get along fine with that amount

i didnt use a miracle blanket. i had 4 swaddlers ( twins) loved them.used them every night until 4 months or so. since then i have been using sleep sacks. not every night the boys are 9 months now but i still use them. i look at it like a safe blanket. i wouldn't sleep without a blanket so i give them a double layer as a blanket.
