Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
I'm just so freakin angry and sad over this story. I just don't understand how/why someone can do this to an innocent little girl? I know there are hopes she is alive, and I pray to God that she is. But the whole story just seems sooooooooooo fishy and I fear the worst. They released the 911 tapes, and the mother is just like "yeah she's been missing for 31 days"...with no emotion. I hope this woman rots no matter what.
I can't stop following the story

I just pray to god that they find this little girl, and when they do, make sure the mother is sent away.

My DH works for Fox, and was in the newsroom at the time of this interview. He said that you could have cut the tension with a knife.
The grandmother is basically saying that the mother did something henious to the child and can't admit it because she herself will not come to terms with what she did to her own child (the child's mother).
Whatever...she should rot in jail.

Wow ... I must be in the minority here but I thought the interviewer was horribly insensitive and inappropriate.
The grandmother was right. The police have their job to do, which is to continue to interview the mom and see if she breaks, W/O press innuendo. All the grandmother can do at this point is help get her picture out. If her daughter is hiding something, doesn't mean grandma knows about it. She may know that her daugher is a mess or unstable, but that doesn't mean she knows the specifics of what happened to her granddaughter.
She (the grandmother) seemed desperate and genuine to me.

Re: Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
I didn't see that one. I am just disgusted....esp when the grandmother says Casey has reasons why she can't blurt out all of the truth. This girl has been lying from the get-go. She set police to Universal Studios saying she worked there, got there turned to them and said I lied, I used to work here. I'm so furious!

I just want to beat the crap out of this woman. I hope and pray that Caylee is OK- but in my heart, I don't think it is so and think something terrible happened to her.

are you KIDDING me? Seriously? The "mother" knows where the child is but yet her and the grandmother would rather waste valuable resources looking for her....ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS> I think the grandma should be thrown in jail for hindering a police investigation....

I totally disagree. I am in FL and watched the bong hearing. The Grandmother seems like an attention w#hore. Also Casey and Caylee lived with her and she saw neither of them for a month? That sounds fishy to me

Re: Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
I do believe(and hope to god) that the granmother has no knowledge of Caylee's "disapperance". There is something off about her(the g'ma), but I do think she's trying, as best as she could. I'm not defending her, by no means. I am just hopeful that she is a truthful ,sain woman.
It seems to me that Casey(the mother of the little girl), is in and out of trouble with the parents. If you listen to the 911 calls, the gma 1st calls in to report Casey stole her car(for 2 weeks) and money. 2 hours later, gma calls 911 again, this time in hysterics because her daughter told her Caylee was kidnapped. Grandma threatened the daughter, she wanted to see Caylee, is she didn't tell her where she was she was calling the police, and she did.

Wow based on seeing that it doesn't seem like neither mom or grandma are "with it". I only hope that if Caylee is found that she will be placed with a loving family and far away from these sickening people.

Re: Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
I've been following this story since last week and unforunately I do not get a good vibe from this whole thing.
Tell me something......the grandmother keeps saying that the daughter just can't "blurt out" where the granddaughter is for reasons "only Casey knows" and if she weren't in jail it would make things easier.......................
So this STUPID FREAKIN MOM CARES SO LITTLE ABOUT HER DAUGHTER AND ONLY ABOUT HERSELF THAT SHE WOULD POTENTIALLY ENDANGER HER DAUGHTER'S LIFE AND NOT JUST
SAY WHERE HER DAUGHTER IS?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?
THis whole family knows something and sorry to say it, I feel they are covering up her death......
Nothing in this world could prevent me from screaming from the rooftops where my child is to anyone who would listen and save them.......unless I killed them. I would spend my life in jail if it meant my child was safe...these people are really flucking p!ssing me off!!!
W T F is WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!!!????????????????
ETA Didn't watch the video entirely, but what's up with the reporter? She seemed like she was ad-libbing the whole beginning.... I guess anyone can be a reporter these days....

Exactly I don't care if you have to tell them you're a crack addict wh0re that's committed every crime known to man for crying out loud cooperate so you can find your daughter!
And that whole "blurt out the truth" comment the grandmother made makes me hope a judge will throw her in jail too since she's obviously covering for her daughter.

The whole thing is off...I can't see the video at work, but I read the transcripts of the 911 calls and they don't make sense either...The grandmother says the daughter and grandaughter were missing for a month, and she "just got her back"...that was July 15...but she stole the car supposedly on June 30...
I just pray that the little girl is okay, but I don't have a good feeling about any of it...

Re: Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
I read the police report but I can't find it now to post. This family is sick. In the report about 5 friends came forward to say she is a habitual liar one of them said she was with Casey and Caylee one day between June 12-14. But she has been missing since the 9th. The babysitter Zenaida doesn't exist and never lived at the apartment she last dropped off Calyee (the apartment hasn't been rented since like April). The police found a lady named Zenaida and showed the picture to Casey but she didn't recognize her. There is just lots of lies. Not to mention she borrows a shovel from a neighbor and her mom said the car smelled like decomposition to 911 but when the police say it..all of a sudden its rotten pizza. Is she nuts! The worst part is in the police report the grandfather went up to the police and said he was afraid that Casey may have harmed Caylee. What the heck does that tell you. I am distraught over these types of stories but honestly and this is purely my opinion if this little girl has passed on she is in better hands with God then to grow up with sicko relatives or a foster family who can never explain enough that she doesn't have to be like them. This grandmother passed her loose screws down to her daughter and the only one who pays is an innocent little girl. May God be with all of them!

Re: Missing Orlando toddler--Caylee Anthony
When this first aired on Nancy Grace, I thought the little girl was alive and the mother gave her away or sold her, much like is speculated in the Duckett case. I no longer think that, especially after there was stains, hair and the decomposition smell in the trunk of the car. I think the mother killed her
I think the grandmother *wants* to believe that Casey gave the baby to someone, and is completely distraught, which probably lead to her changing the "smell" in the car story. She has probably convinced herself that it's *not* the smell of a dead body. I really don't think we can judge the extended family because how would we all act if we were in their shoes? Would we all be clear minded enough to think straight, talk straight? I doubt it.
ETA: I just watched the video and I'm not sure why they keep drilling the grandma like they do. She DOESN'T KNOW where Caylee is, and that's evident from her 911 call. Her daughter is a liar, she can't help that. I think that reporter wayyyy was out of line saying "they are looking out for Caylee which is more than the family did"

I think they mean how can a child be missing from a house that 5 people live in but it takes a month to realize the child is not around. Plus a babysitter excuse would be bogus because the parents know the daughter didn't work. She had to steal their money and car. Which started the realization that "Hey Caylee hasn't been around..."
