mk questions: tom sawyers island / castle
Is Tom Sawyers Island appropriate for a 3 year old? I know we can't bring strollers on the island, so I just worry about having to chase after her there. Is it fine, or is it something geared towards older kids?
Also, is it true that you cannot go in the castle unless you have a pre-exisiting reservation to the restaurant and/or the boutique?

I really like TS Island and took my 3yo there. It's cute, a bunch of caves, bridges, etc. Definitely go. And yes you can only walk directly through, under the castle, can't go into any other part unless you are dining in the restaurant.

Tom Sawyer island is fine to walk through with a three year old. As far as the castle there isn't a real "in" it. It isn't like a castle to walk around in. There is just a restaurant which you need an ADR to go into. There is a boutique for little girls. But there is nothing really to see.
You can however as long as a show isn't going on walk through the tunnel of the castle. There are some nice mosaics to look at but the castle is more to look at from the outside than it is to explore.
Unless you are really important or very lucky there is a really special suite in the castle but it is not open to the public.
