modeling your baby?

Has anyone modeled their baby? if so, how did you get into it and find a reputable agency? I may be crazy for wanting to do this, but I think Declan is perfect and he smiles at cameras and has a great personality. I thought maybe getting him into it. I don't really know anything about it though. Thanks for any information!

My DS did modeling ...We basically sent out home photographs to some of the more reputable agencies in NYC along with a cover letter with his age and size...A few contacted us, and we ended up signing him with 2...We found all the agencies online.

It was a lot of fun and he has some cute keepsakes from it , but a whole lot of back and forth Manhattan ( which, aside from NJ occasionally, is where all the go-sees and bookings were)...For someone who lives in/near the city, it's perfect..Coming from LI, it was veryu rough (parking, tolls, gas , traffic)

He is still signed with one ( the other filed for bancruptcy) but now having my DD there really is no way I could feasibly take him to NYC ( which sometimes is multiple times in a week )

My friend basically did the same w/ her DS, although she had professional pics done. She signed on w/ the agency that contacted her, that she felt most comfortable with.

He's been in a number of print ads & was a double for the lead actor in The Nanny Diaries & recently had a part in an upcoming movie (I forget the name); however, she lives in Queens & is a nurse (that works nights), so she's able to run him in/out of Manhattan during the week when need be. It is a lot of running around & dedication to going on shoots, lots of waiting around, etc.
