I don't know i'd think from her living in SC that she's gotten into a few sweltering hot cars in her life after a full day of it sitting in the sun. You can hardly breathe... how could she think her kids would survive in there? I don't know, maybe i'm wrong but it's pretty much common sense to me.
Again, common sense to us isn't common sense to others. Maybe she had the windows down and thought that would suffice? I don't know. Maybe she'll be interviewed one of these days on Nancy Grace. And again, I'm by no means justifying what she did, but some people are just ignorant to certain things.

Ok 2 points...
one...OMG! She put the kids under the sink after they died in the car? OY! I know what sassy and summerluv and whoever else stated that some disadvantaged people seriously dont know any better and they do what they can to survive. I mean in Mexico the little children are running the streets at 2 am selling chicklets. Some people certainly dont know any better. Terrible story regardless.
My second point.... Summerluv...you stated a girl n your sisters friends group keeps forgetting the baby in the car...Yikes! Did anyone do anything to ensure that this baby is OKAY at ALL times? That could be an accident waiting to happen. Aside from notes, I think since your sister knows and some other people...it is best to make sure this baby is safe at all times. JMHO...you could stop something serious before it happens. i dont think this girl should be criticized as I dont think the other woman should but I think knowing the facts and knowing that the baby "could" be in a potentially dangerous situation...now is the time to make sure everything is okay.

I'm sorry, someone is lacking something their brain if they forget their child in the car.
But regarding the original post...I just don't even have words for these stories anymore. What those kids went through...ugh. It sickens me. I don't care what socioeconomic class you are!!!
If she was working.....then she had some sort of brain function going on, no? Enough to tell her that hmmmmmm...maybe sun + car + shut windows=death for children?
May they rest in peace.

what happened to those children was horrible, and there really is no excuse.
But it is also terrible that this woman felt she had no other option.
This is yet another reason why the government needs to do more to help single mothers.

ugh.....I'm so grossed out by this. Disgusted that someone could not only leave those poor kids in that situation (which she HAD to know wasn't good for them) and then try to hide it by stuffing them under the sink....blech
