mom of lil ones that wear glasses
I am in Merrick. I used to get dd's glasses at the office where her doctor is but it is in great neck and super expenisve. anyone know of local places where it won't cost me an arm and a leg? She is 3yo. if that helps. TIA

DS is 18 months and has been wearing glasses since he's 1. I use Access Optical on Merrick Road in Merrick. it's next to (west) of la piazza. they are awesome there and take just about all insurance. mine is horrible and they take mine. ive gone back a million times for adjustments and cleanings and they are always so nice.

I got DD's at Costco MUUUUCH cheaper. Also Walmart

Uh, I tried Bj's but they didn't have any her size. I didn't think to try Costco once Bj's didn't have it. Darn it~! I ended up at Access and $300 later they are cute but they better last her a while!!!

DD has been wearing glasses since 15.5 months...she is now 4 and we are on our third pair of glasses.
First two pairs were bought from Accent On Eyes in RVC. Great selection for trendy cute glasses. Pricey! No complaints and have gone back for many adjustments.
Third pair is from Len's Crafters. We found a really cute pair for much less money. These are my favorite on her so far!
