OMG I am bawling here after reading that article. I cannot being to imagine the pain, the anger, the disbelief I hope this new baby brings a lot of joy to their lives.
I will hug my babies closer tonight.
This accident happened the day my DS was born and I remember watching it on the t.v in the hospital

The Hance family lives down the block from me...DH and I moved in to ourr apartment May 2010. Every time I pass her house I feel so bad.

I don't know- I mean I know those people are grieving too- but how can you sue Warren over this? Yes, it was his minivan, but he wasn't driving it- he had nothing to do with it. Hasn't this poor man suffered enough?
I just don't think I could do that to get a pay out.
It won't bring anyone back.
He's the owner of the insured vehicle. Their attorneys had to name him in that lawsuit for that reason.
My heart breaks for these people and I hope that this new baby brings them happiness.

Wow! Thank you for posting. This woman is a survivor. I always wondered about her and how she was able to get up and live. I feel bad for the family and it bothers me that they are getting sued. I know the other family is grieving but so is this family who lost 3 young girls. What was Diane thinking??? I think that is a question everyone wants answers too and I don't think it will ever be answered.
I always wondered about the family who lost their young daughter on the way home from a wedding, the flower girl where the car was going the wrong way and smashed into a limo. I saw the parents on tv once doing a commercial about drunk driving.

I saw them on Oprah a few years back. The mother was NOT doing well at all. At the time she seemed to be in a very bad state of mind. I felt awful for her...

This was the most heartbreaking story....I will never forget when that happened.
I give her so much credit to move forward in life and to keep doing what she is doing. I don't think i could ever be that strong
Its a huge reminder that life is precious. I loved what she wrote about stuff being just "stuff" and you can replace things or do without them but you can't replace people....I try not to take things for granted as it is, but this story was a definite reminder...god bless them all..

Gut wrenching. I think I would have curled up and died. Just simply stopped breathing. God bless her and her husband. God bless that little miracle they are expecting in the fall.
