My DS is older, but at that age he had cereal and fruit for breakfast.

He pretty much had that until he was 11 months and I started with eggos, mini pancakes, yogurt, etc.

DD is 9 months and lately has been having 1/2 a blueberry waffle and a stage 2 jar of fruit. Followed up by a 6oz bottle.

This morning he has a smorgasboard (sp?) of breakfast items Chat Icon

He nurses when he wakes up and then about an hour later I gave him cheerios, banana, a little waffle, cereal (whole grain with banana version) and a stage 2 fruit combo jar.

At 9 month I was giving him baby cereal w/yogurt or fruit (applesauce, baby food fruit). Now that he is 11 months and has more teeth I give him oatmeal, blueberries and cheerrios, bananas, even cinnomon raisin toast with cream cheese.

Oh, just wanted to add pancakes.

Amelia came off baby food at 9 months, she was the earliest of my 3 to do that. I alternate with eggs, waffles, fruit, toast, bananas etc...

Todd Jr will be 9 months soon, he gets cereal with apples and banana's, loves it! or I will give him some pieces of an english muffin with butter.

Re: Mommies of babies 9 months and older...

Nina wakes between 9-10 she will drink 7/8oz of milk and then around 11 she will eat scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, cottage cheese or yogurt. She is not a big breakfast eater though. She really gives me a hard time eating breakfast.

ETA: Nina would never ever eat baby cereal.

She had 7oz of milk at 8 am, and then at around 9, she came downstairs with me, and had a handful of Cheerios and a half of a banana.

Re: Mommies of babies 9 months and older...

DD is almot 9 months and she has about 7 oz bottle around 7:45, then an hour later she has two tablespoons baby cereal with baby food fruit. We just started giving her the stage 3 jars (6 0z) because she would finish the stage 2 and be looking for more. Our doc said not to give more than 4 tablespoons cereal a day so we decided to load up on the fruit.

Re: Mommies of babies 9 months and older...

At 9 months, DS was getting BF'ed right after he woke up and then when he showed signs of hunger about 1 1/2 hrs later, I would mix up some cereal and fruit.

Re: Mommies of babies 9 months and older...

bottle first thing, then about 2 hours later he eats eggs, pancakes, yogurt, mini bagels, toast, waffles, or french toast and a jar of fruit. I just bought the Earth's best baby oatmeal but haven't tried it yet (not baby cereal)

ETA: DS is 14 months, but at 9 months I was still doing baby cereal and fruit everyday.
