mommy's of those early risers... come in (re Time Change)
So DS was... 5/530am wake up 830-1030 nap 7pm bed
Now DS is... 7/730am wake up 1030 nap?? IDK because he is putting up a bit of a fight. 8 pm bed
Dont get me wrong im loving the later wake up but.... we are all messed up. If it wasnt for me needing to get to the gym, I probably would be in heaven with this schedule.
he was doing a nap til 1030 then get up and get to the gym (daycare at gym on 9-12) but now Im trying to get him to nap earlier but he isnt having it or if he does he sleeps a shorter amount of time. So I can get to the gym, but he isnt getting a good nap.
Im really considering just starting to wake him up at 6am and see how that goes.
how are you all doing? are your babies sleeping later for you?

Jack is actually sleeping later (730 or even 8) as compared to 630-7 before
and he is CRANKY if not in bed by 715!
everything else remains the same this time change worked well for us... I fear the fall

that was lucky karin! I wish! If he would still go down for his nap at 830/9 I would be a happy camper.
I feel bad because Im being selfish because i NEED to get to the gym. If it wasnt for that, I could care less. I dont mind not getting up at 5am

Same issue for me. Dd was sleeping 9-10:30 which was great. I had mommy and me classes at 11:30. Now she is waking at 7 (used tp be 5 or 6) and napping at 10 or later.
I tried to get her to nap earlier as well...but she just played in her crib for an hour one day and fought the other times. So im just going to let her lead and go with the flow. This morning she woke at 6:30am though and didnt nap for long at 10 so im wondering if i screwed her up a bit.

My DS wakes around 6:30/7 and naps by 9:15. I used to put him down later but read the book Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child and it talks about earlier naps. What a difference it has made. He is the happiest thing and LOVES his naps. Also naps at 2:15. He is 1, btw.

This was DS. wake like 530 nap no issues 830-1030. I think the problem is me because now that he is waking later in the AM "I" do not know what time to put him down for a nap and it obviously cant be too early because he is waking at 7 or later.
he still naps at 2, but those have been shorter lately as well
He is still always happy though
