Moms looking for high protein-non meat food for babies!!

Goldi, Pickles, Randella (im sure youll need this soon)
My dd hates meat, and im always looking for high protein nutricious dinners and stuff she can pick up and eat herself, things that are soft..and ive discovered that she LOVESSSSS black eyed peas!!
They have 8grams of protein per 1/2 cup serving, and are very healthy..weve been doing those, garbanzo beans, chic peas..all very healthy..

for the black eyed peas i did add alittle bit of butter for some extra taste..
hth!!

thanks-- all i eat are beans Chat Icon, except now-- i am eating cereal cause i am lazy.

i imagine you can just pulverize them and give it to the babies. something about doing the same to chicken, or chicken in a jar-- just doesn't sit well with me, regardless of my eating preferences.

eta-- you can also do soy beans (edamame), fava beans, avocado... there are so many non-meat proteins out there. Just gotta get creative.

when Mila was just eating Pureed foods, id just mash them up..easy..now she likes to actually eat them herself..
be careful with how much soy you give..i think unless babies are allergic to Milk products you should typically try to aviod alot of daily soy in foods...
i also do avocado randi, she loves it..never gave her fava though Chat Icon ill have vto try that one..
she loves cheddar and cottage cheese, fresh mozzerella..etc..im glad she doesnt like meat so far..i only eat it when im pregnant and having strange cravings Chat Icon
