Moms of 2 - Car Seat question...
DC started off in a Graco infant car seat and has been in a Britax Marathon since about 6 months old. We planned on keeping there be unitl the Britax expires... With another DC on the way do we buy another Infant Carseat use for a few months again then get another Britax Marathon? What did you do? Up for suggestions

I am using my infant carseat that Jack was in.
Once this kid gets out of the infant seat I will probably buy another Marathon. I'm not buying it until he is out of the infant seat though since I don't know how long he'll last in it, and I'm not sure what the booster seat requirements are - and if Jack would meet them yet.

I am pregnant with #2----we bought DS the boulevard with the idea that it was his seat as it goes up to 65lbs. This baby will get their own or a marathon once they are out of the infant carrier.

Car seats are good for about 6 years or so (they all have expiration dates on them), so you should be fine to reuse the same infant seat.
DS was in his convertible seat until age 6, so of course we needed two convertible seats, one for DS and one for DD, who is 3 years younger.

We moved our little one into the Britax Boulevard rear facing and got a Graco Nautilus 3in1 for the older one. I actually purchased the Britax Frontier for my oldest and returned it for the Nautilus. We thought the Nautilus was designed better and it had phenominal reviews and you can't beat the price!

Re: Moms of 2 - Car Seat question...
I ended up getting a second infant seat (I wasn't going to but DD#1 was in it for 11 months so the straps were really twisting etc and so I felt we needed a new one - if she had only used it for 5 or 6 months I probably wouldn't have gotten a new one).
I am however getting a new convertible seat for DD#2 when she is ready for it. I seriously doubt DD#1 will be ready for a booster seat and even so I would rather buy a new seat than use one that is a few years old already for safety reasons.
