With all this talk on the news this week of abductions, can we all share how we get the kids in and out of the car? Our Camry doesn't fit in the garage, well it fits, but I can't get the back doors open wide enough to get at the kids in their seats, so I have to use the driveway.

When Andy was in teh infant seat it was pretty easy since I could carry him and help Sarah up our stoop (high steps and no railing) at the same time. But now it's much harder. I bring them both out at the same time, put Andy in first, then Sarah, then lock them in the car while I go and turn the alarm on (need to shut the front door and use the keypad) and then go out to the car. I do the reverse when I get home (go open the house with them locked in the car, get Sarah out, get Andy out and carry him while helping her up the steps)

I hate leaving them alone in the car, even locked, but it's impossible to deal with the alarm with both of them - I've tried many times. We live on the corner of a pretty busy street near an elementary school so I worry about pedophiles since I feel like schools are a magnet for them.

Thanks for any tips or suggestions to make the process any safer.
