OK... I am the worst mom now after reading this thread.
I bough PLAIN plastic eggs and there will be NOTHING in them. Just find the eggs in the yard and put them in the basket.  
I'm not putting anything in the eggs I'm hiding either

I went to town at the $1 section in Target for Lily's basket....she's getting a coloring book, a play rolling pin, a play wisk, some sunglasses, a headband, and bunny ears. Then I splurged and paid full price for some easter egg sidewalk chalk, a mini magna doodle, and plastic Yo Gabba Gabba figures. I'm going to make her a chocolate bunny later today.
We're also putting some mini chocolate eggs in plastic eggs and hiding them (in or out, depending on the weather) for her.

His basket has Play Doh, a few lolipops, one thing of jelly beans, Peeps bubbles, egg shaped sidewalk chalk, marshmellow twists, a marshmellow animal lolipop, and then a bunch of Mickey Mouse stuff- crazy straws, a coloring book and markers, swimmies, swim ring, and a puzzle.

Grandma made his basket with 2 colouring books, some new crayons, a bunny toy, and some very large plastic eggs filled with matchbox cars. I hear he also has some videos waiting at grandmas house from his godfather.
