mom's of 5-6 mths NOT yet on solids
how many ounces does DC take daily?
ive noticed that Jack is taking more - from 32oz - 36-40 and I think it because he is hungry aka needs solids but he just wont eat cereal or purrees  we keep trying, i know he will get it eventually!

Ainsley was/is drinking 4-5oz every 3 hours or so during the day and was STTN from 10pm-6/7am. So she was drinking about 25-30oz.
She didn't do great on solids first either. We tried cereal every single week for over 2 months before she got the hang of eating it.
He'll get solids eventually. We talked to the ped about it and they said some kids never eat baby food but can be put on really small adult food around 9 months. We thought we were going that route until around 6 1/2 months Ainsley finally started liking baby food.

Chase was drinking 36oz. a day before he started on solids 2x a day. So I think that's normal.

i've introduced cereals to DD who is 6.5mos old. she is just started to get a hold of eating. she nurses 5-6x a day for 10 mins a session. i don't know how much she eats but i suspect she eats 30-36oz a day.
he will get the hang out of it! DD is just starting to open her mouth when a spoon comes to her mouth!

tonight went MUCH better. i warmed up his rice and i think that made the difference (since he is used to warm or room temp bottles). He still only took maybe 4-5 spoons but its better than nothing!
i am noticing that he takes less formula the bottle after cereal. is that normal?

Yes, it's totally normal for him to take less formula after he eats cereal. Think of how much denser the cereal is than the formula. I'm glad tonight went better
