Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I had the 20% coupon for gymboree and was psyched, but hated the clothing there - then I went to children's place and the Gap and felt the same way - I was looking for a few more things for Florida and was really disappointed... I havent gone to Old Navy yet, but I don't like the clothes - and I'm not a fan of the sweater vests - I know they are there for Easter, but I just don't dress him that way....

Re: Moms of boys 0- have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I don't like to buy clothes with like Logo's on them, or sayings, I especially don't like when lots of other kids have the same clothes. That said, I love the boys clothes at H&M, their pants run perfectly for Noah, their tops feel like really good quality and you can get trendy with all kinds of crap printed on them, or plain with nothing on them. Also, I like the clothes from the OshKosh outlet stores, they are super rugged and cute.

Yup. I went to a few different Gymborees and Children's Place stores. There was such a limited amount for boys (at least on the sale racks). I have had luck at the Children's Place in the Source Mall.

Yes - and H&M have awesome sales - you even recognized one of the shirts when he was little when I posted a pic - I should check them out again - they are just not near me... I feel the same way - not a big fan of the logo stuff - in the city, there are so many more options than here in the burbs...

I feel that way about girls clothes sometimes. For Christmas I actually bought them matching boy sweaters because every girl thing had fur or glitter on it (or at least the places I shopped). I usually don't find anything at Gymboree or Childrens Place - I think they are hit or miss. Target and BRU are the 2 places I get most of their clothes. Have you tried those stores?

Liza...when I come home to LI, all I do is shop. And I buy lots of stuff at Target, Old Navy, OshKosh, Century 21 (okay, I admit it, I buy the kid lots of designer T-shirts) and my sister has been buying us lost of stuff at Saks, she has gotten us lots of gorgeous Small Paul (Paul Frank) shirts for like $8, with Julius the Monkey on them! Also, I get some fantastic Junk Food tops at Century 21. Okay, they might cost $20 (yeah, thats like £10 for me) but the quality is good. I got some Splendid tops at Century 21 also.
There are great cothes on LI. and now Noah is going to have some Yo Gabba Gabba tops too because I ordered some last week!!!

Yes c21 has cute stuff. Marshalls is hit or miss but you can always get some cute things there. Also - try Denny's when they are having their blowout sales.

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I wanted to find a nice outfit for ds for a friend's daughter's baptism... they have rows and rows of nice dresses for girls, it is much tougher to find something really cute for boys!

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I did get DS an outfit in Childlren's place last week. I do have to say, I am a huge Target or BRU shopper for him. For some reason, I feel I have a lot more choices in these 2 stores.

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
Yes, boy clothes have been even more disappointing than usual lately. The other day I went to Old Navy and did not see a single thing I liked, which is rare.
Don't even get me started on the lack of cute Easter clothes...

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I have a hard time finding nice dressier clothes that don't cost a fortune. He gets a ton of sports related stuff and logo stuff that I can't stand. But still, the boy has more clothes than I do!

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
I do most my shopping for Anthony at Denny's~ I get all of his Puma, Adidas, Bottlecap, Gold Rush, Polo, Splendid clothes from there and I also get them at a ridiculous price during the big sales~
I also get alot of his stuff from Century 21.
People who dont have boys always say to me that shopping for girls is so much more fun and to be honest, I love shopping for DS~

YES!!!
I am trying to coordinate them for Easter and their first b-day.
My daughter has hundreds of VERY dressy dresses to chose from and the only options I can find for DS are sweater vests (I'm just so sick of it being the only option) or Madras plaid blazer with khaki's

Re: Moms of boys - have you been disappointed with the clothing?
Its hit or miss.
I like Gap and some stuff at gymboree and love Janie and jack but all three stores are way our of my budget for baby clothes.
So I stick to Target and Old Navy...and usually find some cute stuff, even BRU has cute stuff now and again.
