We have tried two brands and James winds up peeing up his side....He will wake up and be soaked up his left side...any tricks (I have tried tucking) or a brand that works really well with boys? TIA

I can't figure it out either. I've been told to make sure his penis is facing down, but he still does it.

Re: Moms of boys, diaper question.....
Same issue here. My friend suggested putting a thick layer of vaseline on the top of his penis to act as a barrier. Keep trying different diapers too - don't worry about the brand name! One is bound to work. We had success with Huggies after everyone in my life swore by Pampers.

Bump up a size in the diapers. That helped right away when Jack kept leaking out.
ETA: I used Swaddlers in the beginning - when I went up in size it was fine. Now I use the Huggies Overnights!

Re: Moms of boys, diaper question.....
At that point, the only thing that worked for me was the Pampers Easy Ups.
He was about 3 months when I started using them and they work great at night.
I really think the problem is that with all the tossing and turning it creats gaps where the tabs are.
Now, I also use the diaper doublers.

We did that too!
Try diaper doublers, too!! They worked wonders for us. It's an extra absorbent pad you put in the diaper at night. They sell them at BRU and they are cheap!

Re: Moms of boys, diaper question.....
We use the Huggies Overnights. I put Christopher in a size 3 overnight (the smallest size they make) when he was still in a size 1 diaper
I use Luvs during the day and we really like them, no leaks of any sort and they don't have the funny smell that BabyDry has.

The Huggies Overnights are fabulous.
Also, make sure that his little pee-pee is facing up. I had no idea what was happening when the sides of his shirts were wet, and nothing else...then someone told me to make sure that its facing up (im not sure why though) and I have not had a problem since.
