Moms of boys...I need clothing help!
Good friends of ours are having their first baby--a boy--next month. I'd like to buy some clothes for him, but I'm not sure where to look. I'm not looking for anything with sports, transportation, teddies or duckies...that sort of thing. Think Urban Outfitters for babies...
Any suggestions?
ETA...also no designer stuff like Polo, Burberry, etc...

Babies r us had a ton of clothes like that, carters too!
ETA: I read your post wrong I thought you wanted clothes like that--lol
I would try Gap (love it there) and nordstroms, really cute stuff.

I find Baby Gap and Old Navy terrible for boys.
I'd try Crazy 8, I just got a bunch of stuff like that for CHristopher from there with their sale.

Check out Denny's (their's one in Little Neck) and Century 21. Otherwise my kids are walk Gap adds  . I am also not a fan of all that you listed.

Baby Gap, Babies R Us, Macys, Bloomies, Nordstrom are the places I shop the most. Also, if you are out east, the Carter's, Gymboree and Osh Kosh outlets are great too.

for James, I LOVE the children's place. They have the cutest boy clothing - kaki's, plaid shirts, etc.
and don't forget the 20 coupon :)
I think wow-coupns.com may have one on their site.

I like the Childrens Place for my son. Old Navy and Baby Gap are hit or miss, but he has some clothes from there.

I find good stuff at babyGap, Children's Place and I buy Polo and Kenneth Cole at Century 21
