moms of formula fed 4 month olds...

How many oz of formula does your 4 month old eat and how often?

6.5 oz every 3 hours or so. Plus we just started him on cereal.

DD isn't much of a milk drinker, she doesn't drink the amount suppose to according to similac's feeding guideline.

She drinks anywhere from 4 1/2 to maybe 5 oz but not the same at every feeding. She eats every 2 hrs instead of 3 to 4 hrs. She has been like this since birth. She makes up for the amount she should be consuming by eating more frequent. HTH

Her Pedia told me not to worry because she is gaining weight.

DD is almost 5 months old and is drinking 8 ozs every 3 - 4 hours and is also taking cereal once a day.

DD is 4 1/2 months now....at the 4 month mark we switched her to every 4 hour feedings....and she'll drink 6-7oz. each feed, 5 bottles a day.

ETA: We have not started solids, we will when she's 6 months old.

DS is drinking 5 ounces around every 3 hours, but I also thicken his bottles with oatmeal...and I am also giving him cereal on a spoon in the morning and night.
