How are YOU doing?
Hope everyone is doing well and every baby is STTN just kidding!

Jesse is 9w3d
As of 2 weeks ago he was 15.5 lbs at home (ped appt on Wed)
Doesn't sleep "too" bad...will give 4-4.5 hour stretch most nights....
I feel like he eats all day , no real schedule-if he's awake, he wants to eat ...
He's formula fed ....
I'm doing good !

A will be 11 weeks tomorrow. She was 9lb3oz at her 2 month appointment. She still mostly wakes up ever 2-3 hours at night to eat. The other night she slept from 10-3 but didn't do it again! She is breast fed. Won't take a pacifier and haven't tried a bottle yet! I'm exhausted, but doing ok!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Hi there...Leah was 8 lbs. 12 oz. last Tuesday at her well visit..she is 5 weeks, 3 days old...knock on wood, she is giving us 4-5 hour stretches at night-during the day, she eats every 2-3 hours and I am doing an odd combination of nursing, pumping and formula feeding...
Now that I can be mobile with Leah and we get out and I am getting some more sleep, I am doing well! Don't talk to me when I have to go back to work for 13 days :(

DS is 2m old. He has his 2m appointment on Wed so I don't know his current stats but I'd guess he is like 11-12 pounds. He was almost 10 pounds at his 1m appointment.
He has started to sleep through the night this week. Last night he slept from ~11pm to 6:30am this mornig. Then he went to sleep from 7am-11am. I actually feel pretty well rested today. Hope it lasts.

Baby D is 8wks, 4 days....8lbs, 2ozs at her well visit last monday
She sleeps every night from 9pm-ish til around 6am-ish. Has been doing this for most of her little life!!!
She eats about every 2 hours during the day, 4-6ozs at a time. She is mostly formula fed with as much pumped BM as i can get thrown in...
ETA: I am doing OK, back at work though, which makes me sad...

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
DS will be 6w tomorrow. He weighed 8lb6oz at 1 month check-up. He is FF with BM in there. He used to eat 4oz every 4 hours but the past 2 days it is 4oz every 3 hours so I am trying to increase him to 4.5oz to have him last longer. I can't complainabout nights - he will go 7 hours without eating, wake up eat 4oz and then go back to sleep. He is however up most of the day - lets say we get up at 7 he will go till 10 pm only sleeping 3 hours during the day. I am doing good but still adjusting

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
10 weeks today just had his 2 month visit last week 13.5 lbs. 23 inches sleeping 9:30pm-5:30-6:30 am then back to sleep until 8:30-9am other than that, no real schedule yet...eats about 4-5 oz. every 3 hours takes a long nap in the morning and then cat naps throughout the day Formula fed
I am doing good....still stiff at times from c-section (and the rain isn't helping) and the baby weight is still coming off....slowly, but its coming.

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Hi Kelly! Hope you and the baby are doing well!!
How old are your babies now? DD is 9w1d
How big are they? She had her 8w appointment last Monday and she was 10lb 1oz
How are they sleeping? She sleeps from 10:30pm/11pm to anywhere between 5:30am-6:30am. When she wakes in the am she is up for an hour (change, feed, digest) and then goes back to sleep anywhere between 1 1/2-3 hours. Sometimes she naps a lot during the day and sometimes just little 30-40 minute cat naps. I have to say I am pretty well rested but we'll see what happens when I have to go back to work in 3 weeks ( )
What is your "schedule" like (how often do they eat, how often do the wake at night, etc) DD does not wake up at all during the night. I put 6oz in her bottle and sometimes she drinks all 6 and sometimes just 4. She eats every 3-4 hours during the day with her last bottle around 9-9:30pm.
Are you BF or FF? DD is FF. I tried BF but it just didn't work out for us. My boobs malfunctioned...lolol
How are YOU doing? I am doing great except for the anxiety that is building each day as it gets closer for me to have to go back to work.

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Oh Nicole, you will be fine!!! For me at least it wasnt as bad as I expected going back to work (although as you know I only lasted a few months )
Anyway, so DS #2 is now 5 weeks (tomorrow) He was 11lbs 8oz on Friday so he was up 2lbs from his birth weight! Which made me super excited because I was afraid he wasnt getting enough nutrition from being BF but I guess I was wrong. (although he is not EBF)
Sleeping is not so good! DS #1 spoiled me and was an amazing sleeper from day 1. DS #2 isnt bad to be honest he is probably just normal but with taking care of a 3year old during the day I am exhausted as the only time I sit down is when I am BFing! But right nwo DS sleeps about 11/11:"30 and then wakes at 2 and 5 and then at 8am for the day, we are pretty much ever 3 hours at night! But by the time I get feed, change and go back to sleep myself its probably less than 2 hours of sleep!
Schedule is all over the place obviously, but he eats I guess every 2.5 hours during the day. I am so new at this BF thing though because I didnt BF DS #1 that I feel so off with how the feeding thing is going. 1/2 the time I am ready just give formula and give up on BF and the other 1/2 of the time I love BF. Darn hormones!
As for me, I feel fantastic, my c/s was great and outside of some soreness when I over do it (like carrying my 45lb 3 year old) I feel as good as I did before I was pregant with DS! And I feel great that we went to a party yesterday and everyone was commenting on how great I looked already!!! Down about 37-40lbs out of the 43 I gained (even though I still have a 3 month preggo looking belly!)

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
*How old are your babies now? -8 weeks (will be 2 months old on the 25th)
*How big are they? -15 lbs 4 ozs 24 inches. He also lost 14 ozs when he was in the hospital with RSV so he would have been at least 16lbs if he never got sick!
*How are they sleeping? -still takes a lot of naps during the day and wakes up 2 times at night.
*What is your "schedule" like (how often do they eat, how often do the wake at night, etc) -Declan goes to bed at 9 pm. wakes at 3 am to nurse and again at 6 am to nurse then goes back to sleep until 9 am. He then takes cat naps all day and nurses 7-9 times during the day.
*Are you BF or FF? -EBF
*How are YOU doing? -Great! Being a mommy of 3 comes naturally to me. I thought it would be more stressful but I love it and all ready want more

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Hi girls! DS was born April 10th. He's now 6 weeks old.
At his 1 month well visit he was 10lbs. and 22 1/2 inches long.
He tends to sleep better at night than in the day. His naps are between 45 min- 1hr. At night he sleeps between 5- 7 hours. He did give us 1 night of 8 hours. Usually he goes down at 10 or 11. If he sleeps 5 or 6 hours, he will wake up at 4 or 5 am, feed, then go back for 3 hrs. So we are pretty lucky when it comes to night sleeping.
He is FF and eats every 3-4 hrs during the day, but goes for longer stretches at night.
As for me, I am finally starting to feel normal again. I do have some more weight to lose. The hardest part has been adjusting to having 2 kids and finding a good balance.
I hope everyone is feeling good and that the babies are thriving!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
How old are your babies now? 8 weeks
How big are they? she was almost 9 pounds at her last checkup. I'm sure she is a good 10 lbs.
How are they sleeping? Not too consistently yet. SOme days she sleeps all day, others she is up all day! At night she goes anywhere from 3-6 hrs.(last night was the first time she went 6 hrs.) between feedings
What is your "schedule" like (how often do they eat, how often do the wake at night, etc) During the day she typically still eats every 3-4 hrs.
Are you BF or FF? Formula
How are YOU doing? Much better than expected. She is #2 and I thought I'd be so stressed having a newborn and a toddler in his terrible 3's but it's surprising pretty good! Just started back at the gym recently and feeling good!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
DD is one month old exactly today!!!! It went so fast!!!!
She weighs 7'8 on my scale. At the ped 2 weeks ago she was 6'12.
She is an awesome sleeper!!! I'm getting about 6 hours a night! I really hope this lasts and I'm crossing my fingers!
She eats every 2-3 hours right now during the day. At night I stopped waking her up since she gained back her birth weight and then some. Usually she will only wake me once through the night, but she will easily sleep for 6 hours and never wakes me up.
I am BF. I am also pumping to start freezing a supply.
I'm feeling great!!!! I don't feel so overwhelmed and I'm getting used to having a newborn in the house. I feel great physically as well and have my 6 week pp checkup in under 2 weeks! I hope I'm cleared for working out so I can return to the gym and get rid of the rest of this pregnancy weight gain!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Rylan is 2w 5d old
We went for a weight check on Fri he was 8lbs 13oz so he is back up to his birth weight just passed 2 weeks old.
All he his does is sleep. A very lazy baby! at night he does two 3 hour feedings and then has a 5-7 hour stretch.
His schedule was great after he came home from the NICU for the first week but now we are having some issues with not wanting to nurse and sleeping. We are playing a game during the day which isnt fun.
We are EBF and when he actually nurses its going well.
I am okay. DS#1 is having a really hard time adjusting and is behaving extremely out of control which is really stressing me out. DS#2 is only having like 1 good feeding during the day and that too is stressing me out. I am getting sleep which is good but I am really hoping we all get it together soon!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Nate is almost not a newborn anymore. On Friday, he'll be 12 weeks.
I'm guessing he weighs about 12.5 lbs.
He's now sleeping around 7 hours, waking, and then sleeping another 2-3.
He eats every 4 hours when he's awake.
I tried to BF but I guess mine are only for show. He's on sensitive stomach formula.
I feel good, but still have sciatica. I wish the baby weight would finally go away but it has not yet.

Wow, this post made me extremely jealous!!!! DS is now 10 weeks, weighing in at 14lbs 4 oz and 24 inches long. I am lucky if we get a 5-6 hour stretch once a week. How are you guys getting these great sleeping babies ?!?!?

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
She'll be 4 weeks on Wednesday!
She weighed 7.13 at 2 weeks. I think she's about 8.5 now.
Sleeping? HAHAH she cat naps allllll day and night. I'm lucky if she sleeps in a 2-3 hr stretch. Diaper change, eat, talk to her, she'll doze in my arms, put her down, wakes up repeat cycle every 2-3 hrs.
She's EBF
I'm TIRED, but ok. I'm a really bad napper and not getting alot of sleep at night, paired with the fact that my husbands been out of town for over a week for interviews leaves one massively tired mom.

My little man will be 3 weeks on wednesday!
He was 8lbs 13 oz last week.
He's still up like every 3-4 hours at night but will usually give me 1 good 5-6 hour stretch.
He's eating around every 3-4 hours.
I am BF him, but he does get 1 bottle of formula that I'm working to cut out. He had to be supplemented with formula in the hospital cause he was on antibiotics in the NICU that could have damaged his kidneys if he wasn't hydrated enough. We found out today that he has a milk protein allergy too.
I'm doing well... Still recovering from my crash c-section, and adjusting to life with 3 kids, and now changing my diet to be dairy and soy free. I'm loving every second of my little guy! He's so sweet! I live being a mommy to my, and would love more someday!

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)....
Paige is 6 weeks and I EBF. During the day she normally eats every 2-3 hrs but sometimes wants to eat sooner. At night she goes to bed between 9 and 10 and wakes usually around 2, but sometimes sooner. Then she'll do another 3-4 hr stretch. I'm doing okay...BF is really hard and my goal is to get to 3 months. I feel bad to say that I'm counting down the days. She is a very good baby though and is thriving. She was 10 lb 5 oz at her one month check up . At birth she was 7 lb 13 oz so that's a really good weight gain for a BF baby.

Re: Moms of NBs (March, April, May babies)...
My little man is now 8 1/2 weeks. His two month check-up is on Wednesday, so we will see where he is at, but he is probably about 10+ lbs now. Maybe more, he eats CONSTANTLY! He sleeps pretty well, we usually get at least a 5 hour stretch, and then he goes back to bed for about two hours after that changing/feeding. Once last week he slept for 11 hours straight! Although he made up for it the next night by not sleeping at all...seriously, we went to sleep at 5am
I breastfeed, so I feel like I should be walking around without a shirt on at this point. He barely naps during the day lately, and he wants to eat constantly. I'm a little concerned that I won't be able to pump enough for him when I go back to work. I don't want to supplement with formula if I can avoid it, but I'm getting very concerned now. I don't even really get to pump during the day and then when I do pump it is only about 1/2-2 oz. He is nursing right now as I type
I'm doing pretty well. My nipples are getting a bit sore from the constant use, but I have been putting lanolin on which helps big time. I used it a lot when I was having nipple problems when I first started nursing.
I'm really torn about returning to work. I go back on June 4th. I don't want to go because, well, I'm Mommy, I should be home with my baby. Yet at the same time, I am glad to not have to take care of him constantly. It makes me feel like a horrible mother to say that, but the lack of naps and the constant nursing leave me exhausted by 3pm, and DH isn't home until nearly 10. Interestingly, at the same time I wish I could BF him all day, because I really don't think that I can pump enough for him, I worry about it constantly.

DD is 10 weeks, 5 days. She was 11.2lbs and 23 inches at her two month appointment Great! Down by 9pm on most nights, I'm bfing so I usually feed her once through the night though she's not technically awake during the feeding. She's not really on any schedule with me but when she's with my mom drinking pumped bottles she eats 4oz every 2.5 hours. She is a crappy napper though - some days she doesn't take any naps! BFing and it's going well! I just went to work so I could be better but I'm readjusting...can't wait for summer vacation though!

DD is 6 weeks old (born 4/10/11). She was 10.15 at her 1 month check up and 23 inches long. She sleeps pretty well at night. Goes down about 10 and sleeps until 4ish then goes back down until 7 or 8. During the day is another story. She started cat napping only, which doesn't help me get things done around the house! I feel pretty good. I have my check up tomorrow. I was doing better with weight loss when I was pumping, but now DD is FF and the weight loss has haulted!

DS is 7 weeks old and weighs 11 lbs as of last week. He drinks 5 oz every three hours during the day. His last bottle is around 10 (I usually have to wake him for it) and then he wakes once around 3:30 to eat and goes right back to sleep. He doesn't take such long naps during the day. Looking forward to getting more on a schedule with him.
