Moms of potty trained children
When are they able to hold their bladder for more than 10 seconds? I'm so proud of my little girl but 5 minutes barely goes by before she's gotta go again!

Re: Moms of potty trained children
My DD just turned 3. She can hold it all night long and during the day she can hold it for hours if she needed to. She goes about every 2 hours at home. She has been able to hold it for months now.
A few weeks back we went to the lake. She peed before we left. She didn't like the bathroom at the lake and she held it until we got home 5 hours later(5 hours from when she peed before we left home). She went swimming and she wouldn't even go pee in the lake.

Re: Moms of potty trained children
Samantha can hold it for hours at night, during nap...but take her to a restaurant or store and she will try to squeeze out a drop just to go, I tell you she is obsessed with trying out every bathroom on the planet - ohm, and can tell you which bathroom is which using the universal signs for women and men

Aly is 3. she holds it all night long. she goes every 2-3 hrs during the day and also holds it for naptime (which is 3 hrs usually).
as the above poster said though...she finds excuses to go in the opublic bathrooms all of the time!

Re: Moms of potty trained children
My dd loves to do the tour of public bathrooms, but can often do a 4 hour stretch without going. I think when we were first training her I was really nagging her asking her to go so often.

Re: Moms of potty trained children
Since it's still new I guess that's why she likes to go so much. We got her a pretty pink cushiony potty seat that goes over our toilet. She loves it, should have gotten an ugly one instead!

Im assuming shes just going so often right now because its a novelty. it'll wear off.
