Moms that are/were teachers....question for you
are there any options for summer work? My best friend is a teacher/SAHM for now but has been doing tutoring for the school district for kids that are sick/suspended.
She's at a loss for summer work and needs to bring something in. She looked into Sylvan tutoring but they only want to pay $8 an hr.

How about summer school or private tutoring?

do you know where she could find an ample supply of private tutoring?
I'm not sure if summer school would work because of her kids.....I know her DH works from home 3 days a week or so.

The only real way to get private tutoring is through word of mouth---either in her district, or the district where she works.
She could also try putting up flyers at the supermarket and library and such. Its really hard---word of mouth is the best way.
