Moms that have DC with ear tubes - please help!!
DD has been running a low fever for the last few days. Today she woke up with her ear draining. She seems to be in pain and the liquid looks like it has blood mixed in. Her fever is up to almost 101 now. Is it normal for the liquid to be an orange red???
eta the ped always told me when it drains it shouldn't hurt.

That sounds like an infection. Do you have any drops from the dr. I think its called floxin, put those in and call your dr. They will probably have you bring her in.

Thanks. I have the drops and put them in this morning when I first noticed it. By this afternoon blood was dripping out. I'm going to see if I can get an appt tomorrow morning. She's had drainage before, but never blood.
