when you got your babys first photo in the mail was your baby awake?? did the baby have spiked hair??

I am so annoyed DD is so much cuter with her hair NOT SPIKED AND EYES OPEN
what are these people thinking

It's the standard hairstyle at Winthrop. The girls get the spikey mohawk and the boys get the comb over. I actually liked DD with her little spikes. I don't remember if her eyes were closed because I didn't buy any pictures. I think they were closed though.

I think she looks cute in both pictures!

Your child is adorable!

I should scan my son's picture - it is AWFUL!!! He's not even looking straight and you can totally see his "cone"... Of course I bought the entire package though.

When I went for my hospital tour they told us, that the babies are given ONE shot for their pic. They go under the camera and they snap, no do-overs if the pic is not good... I wish they'd at least try to make sure the baby looks "normal"...

I think your baby's pic came out fine, but as a Mom, I can understand why YOU wouldnt' be happy - to everyone else it looks beautiful!

Ella's picture was awful. I don't think she had enough hair to spike, but her eye were definitely closed (not suprising since they're closed more than open those first few days).

I kept one wallet sized photo for her baby book, and sent the rest back.

Aw! I think so now that you say it with my DD, we got that pic. My DS #2 didnt have enough hair. My DS #1, someone parted his hair to the side LOL

DD eyes were open and she did have spiked hair. Your baby looks adorable. I never think the hospitial pics. come out well. If you are that unhappy I say scan it so you have it and send them back.

this is my other DD who is 5 and I liked the way this one came out and both of my DDs look like clones I was just hoping to get at least her eyes open

aw I think she looks cute! James' hair isn't spiked in his pic (he didn't have a ton of hair though.) Practically every first shot I've seen they baby has their eyes closed.

Both my boys were sleeping and both had their arms up over their heads...they looked kind of funny in them.

However, they did not have enough hair to spike.

Jared's picture was horrible!! I kept the free one (the micro mini pic) and sent the others back..

She was pretty much bald so no spike but she was positioned the same way but with her eyes open showing off her beautiful shiny nails!

honestly can't remember...but I can tell you it was bad enough that we sent it back.
