moms who have used mother's milk tea / fenugreek...

how long did it take to work?

can you think of any disadvantages to using it if your milk supply is adequate, just to get extra to pump and store?

My milk supply went down at about 3 months so I started taking fenugreek & it started to work w/i 24 hours. I see no negatives to taking it.

I take it though I can't tell much of a difference because I'm not a good "pumper". She seems happy though. I like the Mother's Milk tea at night but more for relaxation. I figure I could use all the help I can get. However, my LC told me you would have to drink tons of it to make a difference. I have heard from people on here that it worked for them though.

I take the fenugreek and it worked in like 2 days. i also took mm tea and tha tworked in like one day. but i see more of an increase with fenugreek.

My supply went down a lot over the weekend. I started it on Sunday. Saw some results the next day. The following day was a definite come back for me.

Although I realized my water intake was really bad the previous 2 days before my supply decreases in half.

So I am not sure if this is due to water increase or the tea.
