I call all my kids "LOVE BUGS",always have, I can see my 8 yo is starting to get embarrassed, I called her love bug today in Target and she shot me a look that almost broke my heart

It actually makes me nervous when he responds to these names and not Jack. I've been making more of a conscious effort to use Jack lately

We used to call my daughter LUCY when she was from 8-12 months. She would have these tantrums. LUCY stood for Lucifer, but only me and dh knew it 
I feel really bad about it now. I actually once said to dh, in Disney,while she was laying on the floor screaming for no reason, that I was gonna call a priest to perform an exorcism, and some lady heard me and gave me the funniest look I've ever seen! It was all in joking of course, but I guess it wasnt very funny.....at least to other people

I call her Pumpkin (pronounced punkin)
