Moms with BRITAX convertible car seat. Mom to be has a question
Does the Britax (I'm looking at the Boulevard CS) detach from the base so that the seat itself can be transferred to another base in another car?

I don't have one, but that is a convertible seat, correct? Then there are no bases.
You can transfer a convertible, but TBH, it is MUCH easier to get a second seat for a second car (there are less expensive, safe choices)

No they do not detach from the base. Plus they are heavy so you are not going to want to continually transfer them from car to car. Only infant seats detach from the base. HTH

No convertible seat will. Like Kate said, it's much easier to get a second carseat

agree. but not only easier, it's safer. you don't want to continually reattach a carseat. it should be put in and left in if possible.
