Moms with the Honda Pilot

We are picking up our Pilot either today or Wednesday and I was wondering where you put the car seat(s). Generally I would put it in the center, but with #2 on the way I'm not sure how to work this. I'm assuming the infant carrier will need to go in the middle and the Britax has to go behind the driver since the seat behind the passenger flips down? Will they fit next to each other? DD will start sitting forward once we get the new car (she's 25 lbs and 13 months.)

How does this work?

Re: Moms with the Honda Pilot

I have the MDX (Pilots cousin) When I had 2 kids I had the baby in the middle and the older one on the side, passanger side to be exact because I rarely used the 3rd row. If you are going to use it put the older one behind the driver.

And yes, they will both fit. They are roughly the same size cars and I have 3 seats (2 Marathons and 1 Britax Monarch) in the 2nd row.

Congrats on your new car!

Re: Moms with the Honda Pilot

When we had our Pilot, we really never used the third row (nobody ever wanted to sit back there because it's kind of tight) so we had DS1 behind the passenger seat and DS2 behind the driver's seat. I figured if we were parked on the street I'd rather be able to quickly grab the infant car seat out of its base than have to stand in traffic unbuckling DS1.
