Moms with toddler and newborn
How do you manage to give a newborn a bath when the toddler is around? Do you wait until your toddler is asleep or bring them into the bathroom or whereever with you? Put them in it's crib? This is one dilemma I am trying to figure out. I will bathing our newborn in the kitchen in her tub but, will have to gate off my toddler while doing it so he won't be roaming around the house.

Do you gate him in the kitchen with you while you bathe the little one? That might work. Or if he's still in a highchair, how about putting him in there with crayons and paper? Or a snack? Maybe bathe them both when DH is around?

Re: Moms with toddler and newborn
I have bathed them together in the tub since the begainning. Then I take the baby out of the tub first. I dry her off on the floor and dress her while still in the bathroom. Then I take my toddler out and do the same.
Here is a picture(I only let go of the baby for the picture):

Re: Moms with toddler and newborn
Right now we do them separate so that DH or myself can watch one, while the other one bathes, dresses ,etc. the other.

DS is 2 and he will either watch tv or come in the bathroom and "help" me give my 3 month a bath...

Well Julia is 3 so when I give Todd Jr a bath its in my kitchen in his tub, Julia goes on the computer or watched Noggin, or she helps me give her brother a bath.

I left Sarah in the den which is baby proofed. Still do the same thing, they get separate baths and the other hangs out in the den with Noggin on.

Re: Moms with toddler and newborn
Nate would get on a stool and help or I'd put him in the highchair and put on Noggin.
