Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
I always wanted 3 kids and of course was blessed with the pregnancies from hell. We got clearnace to go for #3 2 weeks ago and we might--yes I am crazy but I negotiated being a SAHM for #3 Moms who had rough pregnancies--is this it for you? Why or why not will you have another?

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
I am 99% sure I will not have another baby. I cannot deal with what I dealt with before. Christopher is an absolute blessing, but I cannot do to him what I did to my husband (and my dog!) when I was pregnant.
I am young (27) so if medical technology advances, then maybe I will have another.

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
It was a concern of mine but My want for another child is larger.
I will deal I determined.. I was very angry this last PG when I miscarried b/c I had just gone through 7 weeks of puking and an Infusion pump and felt like it was for nothing, yet the more I think about it. I would certaintly do it again ....
But I do know your fears. Its scary, depressing and hard for others to understand,

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
i had a TOUGH pregnancy...morning sickness literally the WHOLE 9 months. I gave birth at 41 weeks and the day before was still throwing up. It was so bad that me and my DH said this would prob be it (and we both always wanted a big family). It was as rough on him as it was on me...he said it was the worst thing to see me that miserable for that long and knowing he couldn't do anything to help stop it. Then my DS was born and he is so wonderful and such a blessing, that we are def going to try for #2 (we are jut waiting til he is a little older in case i have to go through it again he is a little more independent) and depending on how that pregnancy goes, we will consider even #3. If the next ones rough too though, that's it, 2 will be perfect for us.

yeah 100% hit the nail on the head. DH is supportive and if he wasnt I wouldnt do it but 3 years is our gameplan cause its sure not easy.

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
You know, I can't say I had a rough pregnancy. That was the easy part. But I've had some health problems since delivering that have made it very hard to do basic day to day things at times. I really couldn't manage another child at this point (maybe when DS is a little older), and definitely not one child and a pregnancy.
So between my age and the health issues, we decided this is it. If we get the itch in another couple of years, we may look into adoption. We have one child.
I think you need to decide what works for you. We don't have much help at all except occasional babysitters, so that affected our decision too, but if I had family closer to us, maybe. Though probably not.

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
I don't know I am so blessed to have one child. I am so high risk I have a short cervix and I am so scared that I may have another premature child. I think I could go for that again my daughter stay in the hospitial for 5 and half months. I would have to be watch very closely. My husband wants another child.

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
My pregnancy wasn't so bad, but I had two miscarriages and IF problems so I was monitored frequently and always on edge. It was very stressful, the whole process from conception to birth. Yes I would do it again if I could afford it.

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
At the end of my 7th month of pregnancy I went into an early labor and it was not a very easy thing to get through . so yes thought of being pregnant again does not make me a very happy person I know it sounds bad, but I had a horrible experience. Plus I have a serious health problem that was discovered after I had my baby so I am not supposed to get pregnant for at least 3-4 years if ever I would love to have another baby, but I don't think it will happen. Adoption is something DH and I have talked about . So who knows what the future brings

Re: Moms wwho had rough pregnancies?
The beginning and end of my pregnancy were HORRENDOUS! I had MS from week 6-18. The dr told me every week..."It ends this week"...he was FOS. AT the end of my pregnancy I lived on enemas. I dont know what the heck she was doing in there. You would think there were 4 babies in there. I swore that I wouldnt do it again BUT like everyone said...when I saw her Now I always hear 2 pregnancies arent alike, how was that for you? were they both bad pregnancies? ALso is the theory about the girls pregnancies being worse ...did that happen for you? I mean kate and DOnna had boys and their pregnancies were still bad. I dont know what to think. I hope to God it doesnt happen when I choose to have my second. I am glad we waited until Gilly was at least walking though and alot more independent. i couldnt even try before now...KWIM...

Unfortunatly I feel that some are pre dosposed to rough Pg's. My last PG I just M/c'ed was a girl and I was just as sick as with Noah But a healthy attitude helped and I was more determined to get "through it" if that makes sense.
