Re: mood swings... how do you get over them?

nothing. when i am annoyed at him I usually just go into my bedroom and read or watch tv and stay the hell away from him.

we had friends over today and i was literally on my feet from 830am until 10pm when they left, cooking, cleaning, etc. He did nothing to help me, not even the dishes. just b/c he painted and sanded our desk this weekend he figures that means he doesn't have to do anything else. Meanwhile after sanding there was such a huge mess that I spent mose of yesterday on my hands and knees scrubbing and cleaning the floors because he was too much of an idiot to think to cover them.

sometimes I think it's mood swings, other times it really seems they don't get it. they don't have the same sense of urgency etc. and just seem to think we'll handle everything once the baby is here.

so my only advice is when he you, get away from him and do something for yourself. mood swings and being grouchy are just normal, pregnant or not.

I'm no help because I'm just as moody.
I hear ya with the husband watching tv all day!
Nothing makes me more angry then seeing him do nothing while I run around like a maniac from morning 'til night!
He just seems to think the baby comes out & it will all be ok but he never gets the reality that we have ALOT to do (tour hospital, find pediatrician, buy furniture, paint, get rid of old stuff in room...and that's just to start!)
I think the only cure is to get rid of our husbandsChat Icon
