Morning birthday food question
I am having my 4 year old's birthday party in the morning. The party starts at 9:30 and food will be served at 10:30. I have the option to get either bagels or pizza. I know it is early for pizza but I am not so sure that the kids will like bagels since they probably already ate breakfast.
Has anyone been to an early morning party or had one? What was served.
Any thoughts?

Re: Morning birthday food question
I haven't been to one this early but I would think that "brunch" type food might be better???? What if you had a waffle and pancake bar? Let the kids put their own toppings on 'em like blueberries, strawberries, bananas, etc? When you say you have the option for bagels or pizza, is that becase the place you're having it limits you to those 2 choices? Pizza's an odd choice for that time of day but I think most 4 year olds would be FINE with that, and the parents can just consider it an early lunch!!

Thanks for the response. It is at a place that is why bagels and pizza are my only options.

Re: Morning birthday food question
i would think either would be ok. but i think i might go with the pizza. becaus emost 4 year olds are up on the early side (i think?) so they would have had breakfast. and on the invite i think i might right LUNCH will be served. that way parents def. feed them breakfast before the party and they arent expecting breakfast to be server... or vice versa

Re: Morning birthday food question
I'd go with pizza... we went to an early party and they served bagels. I heard a few of the kids asking where the pizza was (I guess its expected at these things!)

I totally agree. I've never been to a party that early but I think it would be nice to have some brunch type foods.
