Morning Sickness VENT
How do you girls get through the day???
I think it is worse this time than with DD. I have been eating pretzels all day and I am still gagging. I can't handle this!!!!
I have preggie pops, pretzels, cheerios, diet coke, tea, everything. Nothing is helping. I need my bed!!!

Re: Morning Sickness VENT
I wish I could just throw up and feel better. Never works for me. Lemon lots of lemon. Warm gingerale.

Re: Morning Sickness VENT
In my 1st trimester I found eating a banana to be helpful. That worked until the day I puked one up and since then I have not wanted anything to do with bananas.
When I was nearing my 2nd trimester I found eating carbs 1st thing in the morning helped to take the edge off.
I still have days where my m/s is out of control and I have been struggling since days after my BFP.
May you find some relief soon!

Re: Morning Sickness VENT
During my first trimester, I would eat carbs in the AM (usually a toasted bagel or a croissant) with some tea or gingerale. I found that really helped. I also used to snack on crackers and that helped until the day I was so sick of them, lol.
I think the trick for me was to eat something small right when I first started to feel very sick. Not like a meal, but at least a snack or something.

Re: Morning Sickness VENT
I was sick 24 hours a day till I was 17 weeks. Nothing helped I tried all the suggestions. I ended up on a Reglan pump since I lost so much weight between that and Zofran a few times a day I was able to keep it under control. I know again enjoy food. The day will come where you can eat again I know this is torture

I am having the same problem Lisa! I am at my wit's end because it is so bad. I am so lucky I have a student teacher this semester so I can run to the bathroom and puke during my classes.

I know it seems like an eternity when going through this. I would rather be in labor than go through this. I dealt with that much better.
You're almost there Nicole. Hang in there.

How do you guys get through the day though? I feel like I just want to quit and lay in bed. Sorry about the pity party. 5 more weeks of this.

Re: Morning Sickness VENT
Ask your Dr. for Zofran. It was my lifesaver from week 6-18...And again in my 3rd trimester. You shouldn't have to suffer so much when there are things out there that help....
