Vent...what a horrible morning
DH has been in Wyoming for almost 2 weeks and was supposed to come home today. I checked his flight this morning and it was cancelled. I called United and they said that they re-booked him on another flight and it leaves in less than an hour. They are 4 hours from the airport. I asked why they didn't call and they said there is no number on file. I have the reservation in front of my and MY # and DH's cell are both listed. I told the woman and she said, "Oh yeah, I see that....hmmm...not sure why they didn't call...they ALWAYS call." Obviously not!
Now he's stuck there for at least another day bc there are no more flights. I re-scheduled my 1st sono so he can be there tomorrow. Now he's missing it. He goes back to work next week and won't be able to take any time off bc he was just away for 2 weeks. (Not to mention the fact that I am so lonely without him---it was bad enough waiting until today to see him!)
I am furious. I hate United Airlines.

That is so frustrating, especially as you expected him home to be with you for your first sono. I bet he is just as angry and frustrated as you are.

Ooh that does suck. I've had a good 3 weeks without DH myself (he did come home for the 2 Saturdays though, so not as bad) AND he missed my birthday on Monday because he's away. He's supposed to come home tonight and if his flight gets canceled, I think I will lose it.

oh, I'm sorry mommma. that stinks- I would be so upset also. Damn airlines- so unreliable!
Won't your RE do weekly sonos? If so, maybe he can get away from work for a bit to go with you to next weeks? What time will he get home tomorrow?
