moses baskets?
Do you think they are a good idea, or a waste?

Re: moses baskets?
I don't think they are practical, but I love them and think they are so sweet looking.

Re: moses baskets?
One of my mom's co workers just came back to work and said she still puts her 3 month old in one and puts him on the coffee table, etc when she's doing housework. He's just starting to get too big for it.

Re: moses baskets?
My one friend swore by it and so I bought it as a baby present for another friend of mine, who swears by it too. I just bought myself one. They are quite pricy though.

Re: moses baskets?
i don't think they are worth it, I opted for a 5-in-1 bassinet that has a handle so you can take the top off and carry the baby anywhere in the house

Re: moses baskets?
We had a moses basket for Alex...I was great.. I really loved it..
I had it at my MIL's house cause thats where I stayed my first few weeks so I could have some help re-cooping. the basket was great to keep next to the couch (while I was laying), and was very convenient.
We had brought it back to the apartment we were living in because we had the crib downstairs, and a bassinet upstairs, but I was too sore to keep standing and sitting evey time he skootched. i loved my basket :o) HTH!
ETA: They do sell stands seperately.. I dont know where but I am sure you can google it! GL!!!
