When DH and I were dating he got me a locket and engraved "First Kiss" and the date on the back......

I'm torn - - best physical gift had to be the e-ring  3 years ago tomorrow. That said, he gave me a card two years ago (as he was departing for 6-months of training in Albany) that makes me tear just thinking of what he said to me.

My DH cooked me dinner on our 1st V-Day...dating about 1 month. 
That was 7 years ago and I haven't gotten a meal since...seriously

ETA - The thing I look forward to most though is DH's cards - he writes the most beautiful cards and I've kept every one!
Same here. DH really has a way with words. I look forward to reading the cards more than opening presents.
Although I'm bad and have yet to use it  one of my favorite gifts was a gift certificate to get a massage.
