That's an awesome idea. i think a seperate board would be great for us as well as girls who haven't seen this thread!
I just sent a Fm mail to Ron and Liz asking for this.
I love this idea as well.

Re: Motherless Mother's Days
Reading these posts has made me cry. I haven't lost my mom so I can't even begin to understand the loss you have all had. You are all very brave and very strong women. Many and to you and your families.

I have been missing her alot latley with the birth of my son and planning my wedding. The other day the baby was looking up at the ceiling and smiling and fh said what is he looking at ? I answered his grandma in heaven , she must be talking to him ! and FH said yep i think u r right

Re: Motherless Mother's Days
I am feeling HORRIBLE lately, too. I feel like I'm getting worse. I can't possibly see how I will ever be normal again?!?!?!? I'm really very glad that we will be meeting up soon- we need each other (as corny as that sounds).

Re: Motherless Mother's Days
We are going to the movies, figure it would not affect us there too much and bringing in Chinese food. I am in no mood to see Moms and Daughters in restaurants. When are we going to have a GTG? I think it would help all of us. I got the books by Hope Edelman, so far they are helping me alot. Hugs to all of us tomorrow and all year!

Re: Motherless Mother's Days
yes, many many s to all of you.
I am so fortunate to still have a Mom. She's at the cemetary right now, mourning her OWN mother.
Mom's Mom passed away due to a cerebral hemhorrage as a result of Lupus, at the age of 37. Mom was only 17, and the oldest of 4 children. She became their mother. Her father was a b@stard of a man. He had a girlfriend when his wife was sick, and unbeknownst to everyone, dying. My Mom was the only one with her Mother when she passed, and the only thing she has from her Mother is the cross that was around her neck when she died. Her father hocked everything else to some local pawn shop, and used the profits to marry his girlfriend. My mom was thrown out of her house for staying out til 11pm one night, and never moved back in.
My parents have been together since they were 13. I thank God, for Mom's sake, that her Mom met and loved my Dad. They married at the age of 21. Had me and bought a house at 23. They're so incredibly strong, I don't even know how they do it.
