Mother's day brunch was a success - menu!
Thanks for all the input on my mother's day brunch menu post from last week! Everything turned out great and I think I sufficiently impressed the ILs with my cooking skills. My BIL asked if I actually made everything! Timing and getting everything on the table for a Saturday 12 pm brunch was challenging, but I woke up early and got it done. I wanted to link up the recipes I made in case anyone is interested - they were all a hit!

I made two of these because puff pastry usually goes. I used Asiago instead of gruyere:

Giada's tricolor caprese salad, which I forgot to take out! I totally forgot, but it took it out late and it was still almost gone!

Blueberry baked oatmeal, a surprise hit, but figured some of the ladies might like it:
Great as leftovers
We did bacon in the oven - no recipe, just on baking sheets at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
We also got bagels and spreads, croissants from Trader Joe's, and too many desserts. I was really excited to be able to cook so much from scratch for my DH's family, and am relieved it's over!! I would highly recommend any of these recipes and will definitely be using them again!
