A mom I know has a travel baseball game for her son in Jersey on Mother's Day. Our league doesn't do games on Mother's Day though
I hate Mother's Day. We are going to brunch w my mom. It's my ex's weekend but I get mother's day so I am sure he won't send DS back until it is a totally inconvenient time for me
My son is 10, he's too young to really do anything, and he's past the cute stuff when they're little

I'm going to the cemetery at some point to visit my mom's grave, then DH made reservations for brunch. I try not to let it get to me but Mother's Day usually puts me in a funk every since I lost my mom.

I always like to go down to the beach that day so if the weather stinks, I don't know what we'll do. I think Mother's day and Father's day cause more people pain than it cause other people happiness and wish they didn't exist.
I know exactly how that day feels! My heart goes to u both!

I always say Mother's Day is never about you it's always about the generation ahead of you. My sister gets annoyed and chooses to do her own thing so everything falls on me. I will be having my parents over for a lunch that I cater and pay for.

It's not but your mom is still YOUR mom even after you have kids.

Hosting a brunch at my house
I just decided today I would host as well because it's just easier than me having to go to two separate houses running around all day. Plus my cooking is better than everyone else's anyway
