Mucinex vs. Robitussin
I am on CD10 and wanted to incorporate either Mucinex or Robitussin. Is one more effective than the other?

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
They both work for me. I switched to Robitussin only because I have trouble swallowing pills, and I could find it in liquid form.

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
Mucinex has more gf in it and I saw much more results from it than I did with Robitussin. The month I used Mucinex I had much more ewcm and I got my bfp

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
I was leaning towards robitussin since last time I took mucinex- for my post nasal drip - REALLY dried up my throat and it's just terrible when I'm singing with kids all day. But...if it works the best I guess it's worth trying!

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
mucinex is more concentrated with the guanefisen (sp?) than the robitussin.
I used mucinex.

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
DH just bought Mucinex because we are both sick with colds and bad coughs. I on the other hand have been using robitussin because I can't swallow pills to good. I gagg from them.

Re: Mucinex vs. Robitussin
I went to the store and compared the store brands of mucinex and robitussin.
Unless I am wrong with my calculations, when I calculated how many mg are in the entire larger sized bottle of store brand robitussin and how many mg are in the entie package of 60 pills, it ends up being the same- maybe a difference of 100 mg. This is just based on the walmart brand (equate) of robitussin liquid vs. mucinex pills.
I did notice that the mucinex is a 12 hour time release while the store brand is not time release. I am not sure if this matters.
So basically to me, it seems like it is just a matter of preference of liquid versus pill.
I decided to try the liquid Tussin since it was much cheaper.
My does it taste YUMMY
