Mucous plug question....
Can your water break without losing your mucous plug? Just asking out of curiosity.

My understanding from my childbirth class yesterday was that the mucus plug always goes, it's just a matter of whether you notice or not since there are, ahem, so many other secretions going on down there that late in your PG anyway, so I don't think your water would break if your mucous plug was still intact.
She also said that 90% of the time, your water does not break until you are in labor, whereas you can lose your plug at any point between a couple of weeks before to right before labor.
