Mucous Plug (Sorry if TMI) UPDATE (#2)
I got up at 4:30AM and noticed I may be losing my plug. Again, went to the bathroom at 6:30, still the same.
I have an appt. tonight with the dr. but mom made me call dr. anyway and now Im waiting for them to call back to see if they want to see me earlier.
I am starting to get so nervous. Ive read it could still be a few days, weeks from now. I'll keep you all posted.
This waiting for the call, stinks! LOL
If you lost your plug, how long before labor began for you??
UPDATE: Dr. says it can wait till tonight. I;ll keep you all posted.
UPDATE 2: Just got in from Dr. Everything is good! Cervix is still closed, so, not much happening! He said the mucous plug is not always a sign.
Like I said earlier it was a little bit of "stuff" everytime I go to the bathroom, so, we shall see what happens!

I lost my plug slowly a couple days before, then when i was in full labor the rest plopped out in the hospital.
You are close!!

Thank You ladies. Im due the 26th but Im guessing my little one may want to make an early appearance. I cannot wait to go to dr. tonight and get more info.

i started losing mine on Friday and went into labor on Tuesday. I was already past my due date at that point. DS was born at exactly 41 weeks.

I lost mine about an hour or so into my labor...it was at that point that I realized I wasn't in "pain" I was in labor.
Take it as a good sign that things are moving along, no matter how long that is!

Im jealous. Im due a few days after you and every time i go to the bathroom, i keep looking. I have so much pain and pressure down there. I want something to start soon!!!
I hope all goes well at the doctor tonight. Keep us posted.
I have a doctor's appointment also tonight and im getting my first internal.

I lot my mucous plug and the contractions started about 1/2 later but the early stages of labor. I delivered the next day at 5am. It sounds like I was in labor for a long time but I was really in active labor for about 5 hours so it wasnt bad. Good Luck!

Im guessing I just lost "a little" of it. I havent really seen anything since early this afternoon.
I go to Dr. in an hour. I hope I didn't "jump" to conclusions. Although, it could happen over a course of a few days right?
This hour is going to drrraaag!!! I just want to get there..LOL

I lost alittle bit the day before Thanksgiving, lost the rest on Thanksgiving (you will know when you lose it) . I was induced on 12/1. Never went into labor on my own.
Good kuck
ETA losing the plug doesn't necessarily mean labor will start right away, could be hours or weeks!!

I lost mine like a week and a half before I gave birth. I got so excited when I lost it, thought for sure I'd go soon, but nope. So don't get your hopes too far up, just in case it doesn't happen right away!

I started loosing my plug at 4pm on Thursday, my water broke Friday at 5am and I had my son at 5pm that same day!
