Multiple ectopics?

I'm going through my second ectopic in the past year. The first time around, I was treated with methotrexate twice and told to wait 6 months to TTC again. Second month trying again resulted in another ectopic. I had the methotrexate last Friday and as of Tuesday, my hcg was a 6. DH and I have decided not to continue to TTC as we already have a DC and I feel very lucky that both ectopics were caught very early and without many physical consequences. The benefits do not outweigh the risks, IMO.

Has anyone else had multiple ectopics? I can't believe it happened twice (on different sides, no less). I have another appointment with my OB coming up but I just have to wonder what it all means and if I'm some kind of anomaly.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I haven't had multiple but I was told that once you have one, you're at a little higher of a risk to have a second one.
