Must-haves for trip to Aruba with toddler and 5 month old?
any tips on what I should bring besides for the obvious like diapers, formula, etc?
anything for the beach or pool? a seat for the baby? should I bring my double stroller or just an umbrella stroller or just a stroller for the baby>?
I feel clueless and overwhelmed at the thought of packing for this trip.

I would bring two strollers- whichever one the baby uses daily and will comfortably nap in and then a dinky umbrella stroller. Your toddler won't need one too often so I think it's too bulky to bother with a double. But you can easily use the umbrella stroller if you're going to walk around town. I would bring whatever boat/floaties/swim diapers the kids need. Also bring lots of sunblock and a hat for each of them. The sand toys you are better of buying there- no need to lug them down.

We go every year and going again next month. We use a double umbrella stroller and I used to use an extra visor to throw over to keep the sun out. Hotel or timeshare should provide seats and make sure to rent an umbrella for each day. I agree about buying toys there. They have a decent supermarket there with most of the same stuff we have. When the boys were babies we bought a small blow up pool. Kept the toys in there and under the umbrella. I've seen families with a portable exersersaucer type thing on the beach I though was cool for babies not sitting yet. Lots of sunscreen, hats, crocs or sandals, any floats for the kids so you don't hold them the entire time in the water, puddle jumper for toddler, clips for towels on the chair bc it gets windy, cooler bag for the beach to keep snacks and drinks in, beach bag to carry your stuff down each day with swimmy diapers, change of clothes, etc. It's very casual there too.
Have fun!

When we went to Florida the first time with DS he was 3 months old. We brought a bouncer seat and just disassembled it. He napped in it, we brought it to the poll, it was a life saver.

Yeah, I think that's the one I saw or something very similar. You'll have a great time. Laid back island. Where are you staying? We stay at the Marriott Ocean. Love having time share, Easy with kids to have a kitchen in. We go food shopping the first day and bring snacks and lunch down each day. Some days order lunch.

we're staying at the ritz. we are going with my parents and siblings so we should have enough extra hands to help us out but I'm still nervous about this trip with a 2 year old and a 5 month old. I'm excited though
