my 3 yr old is waking up SOAKED each morning!
Okay, what to do? My 3 yr old is daytime potty trained, but at night she still wears a diaper for now.
She wakes up each night SOAKED - her bedding has to be changed, everything! Huggies overnights only go up to 5 and they are useless now, and I've already tried double diapering, that didn't really work either.
I cannot believe Pampers doesn't make an overnight diaper! What are my other options? I thought I read about an insert you can put in an overnight diaper? Where can I find this?

i use really small absorbant underwear (like for the elderly lol) for my 5 year old.. it works really well !!

Stop and Shop has the diaper inserts - they're not expensive. Haven't used them so I don't know how well they work.

I would also try to limit the amount of liquid she is drinking before/after dinner. That might help a bit.

Dont laugh, but my DS was always waking up soaked every morning. Didnt matter what diaper i used. Soooooo, i tried those elderly Poise Pads for bladder control, and they work WONDERS!! Till this day he wakes up dry every morning but that pad is SOAKED!!! My DH says "please dont ever tell him he wore a maxi pad to bed every night!!"  I tell him its NOT a maxi pad..but men just dont understand.. he's not the one who had to get up in the middle of the night when he used to soak thru his clothes... good luck..

I agree. We have made the mistake of having an evening milk that causes problems for my kids as well. It's taking time to wean them of it though. Anything after 6:30 is not working out good over here.
I might try the Poise's.

I agree.
etd.
We did this too. Also I would carry them to the potty before I went to bed (11pm). Later I would walk them & then they started doing it on their own.

Diaper doublers. Kevin has been out of huggies overnights for some time and so I use these with his regular diapers. I ordered a case online but BRU in Mass has them but they are often out of stock. He even wets out of this at times and he doesn't drink after dinner....it is worse when my son teethes which he is still doing....

we do try and limit liquids but I think the bigger reason is that now she's daytime PTed, she holds it in more throughout the day....I make her go before bedtime but she still must let a lot out at night while sleeping
I bought the girls' overnight diapers for bedwetting - is that what you guys are talking about?
Didn't get the inserts yet. I also concerned a regular maxi pad as a liner in her diaper
