My April baby may become a March baby!

My due date is April 16, but I went to the dr. yesterday and my cervix went from 2.6 to 2.1! ( they have been watching my cervix b/c it was low but it never changed since 20 weeks, I am now 33 weeks.)
And he felt the head!!!
So I was told to take it easy. Which is going to drive me nuts b/c I have been going to the gym 4-5 days a week until today!
Also waiting for the FFN ( I think that is it) results.
I have to hold out to at least March 15th for my shower!

Dont panic, your cervix shortened, but if u take it easy it can stop the process. R u dialated?? The FFN test is only a marker even if it comes back positive doesnt mean your going to go into labor. Did he discuss bedrest with you. Or taking steriods for the babies lungs. I have a shortend cervix as well. Chat Icon

No bed rest. Just told to take it easy and I am not allowed to go to the gym until I see him in two weeks.
I am 33 weeks and he would prefer I get to at least 35-36weeks. He said my cervix doesn't feel thin but was concerned that it dropped and he could feel the head.
I'm not panicking yet.

Good dont. i have had a shortened cervix since 17 weeks, and i am doing fine. Chat Icon
