 This is exactly what happened to me w/ my chemical- Betas were rising very slowly but never doubling- A couple of days after I stopped my PIO is when I got my AF (I was in Florida at the time) Had my next beta a good 5-6 days after AF and thats when my beta went to zero, so it can definately take some time...I am sorry you are going through this, its not fair, but I agree w/ pp, from what I was told ectopics #'s are usually higher and a bit more eratic, so I'm hoping thats the case for you so that you can finally get past this cycle

They thought mine was chemical but turned out ectopic. Just be sure to go to the ER if you feel any discomfort on either side.
Shannon this is exactly what happened to me. Ask your Dr about methotrexate. You do not want tubal issues on top of everything else. I am sorry
