My BIL's dog died... Kidney Failure
From the dog food. 
They said it was from dry food. The vet saw 16 cases.. 8 cases where wet 8 where dry.
What do you say? We feel so bad. He lives alone in a big house. It was just him and his dog

Thats awful. This whole situation is awful. I have been reading about many reports about pets that have been eating Iams dry and same things have been happening. I am sorry for your loss.

 This is a pet owner's worst nightmare...I'm so sorry!! 
Please share which food it was, I feed my babies dry food and thought I was "safe"...
This is just awful!!

I believe it was Walmart brand.
He is so upset. He said he is gonna wait to get another dog but no other dog will be like Zak.

My mom has my puppy this weekend out east and she said last night he was throwing up and I'm sick to my stomach How could someone be so evil

Again, I'm so sorry!! I can't imagine what he must feel. My heart just brakes!!
As an FYI, those that feed Nutro, I checked their website and they have a new update. Their dry food is not affected because they do not outsource it, they're made at Nutro plants and are safe...
Still, this is just a nightmare and I'm sure most of us are on edge!!

wow! that is sooo sad! I'm soooo sorry that it happened to his dog!
whoever did this better be caught and force feed rat poison! I don't know why people are so demented!

menu said it wasnt made at the same plants at the wet foods that are made with (what they think) the contaminated wheat gluten.

I was just watching Inside Edition and more animals died from the food
Has anyone taken their dog/cat to the vet to have them checked out? I have an app't tomorrow I think I'm going to have her do a blood test.
