my box of meds came today
i knew it would be a lot. im not overwhelmed but its just taking up a lot of room in my house and fridge!!!
1. follistim
2. ganirelix
3. lupron
4. HCG
5. cipro
6. dexamethasone
7. valium
8. lovenox
9. PIO and horribly large scary needles
10. vivelle dots
11. luveris
oh yeah and i still have to do a round of intralipids at some point too

Believe me when I tell you this, it's not as bad as you think! From what I remember you've haved some pretty involved injectable cycles - like I had - the only thing that I really felt like it added a lot to everything was Lupron because it dragged everything to take sooooo much longer (that is if you are doing the loooong Lupron protocol like I was  ).

yikes i dont even want to know what the "long lupron" protocol is. i dont think im doing it only cause ive been on bcp for almost 3 weeks and Dr. B said i would start stimming 3 days after BCP and that stimming would take about 12 days.. im going in for my post-BCP baseline on Friday.. i cant wait to get this party started!!!

Ahhhh I remember that faithful day, when I picked up my box from fedex and it almost didn’t make it thru my door
 
Dr. B has a tendency to over buy on all the meds, for insurance purposes, so you may not be taking all those meds. I still have boxes of Levonox, crinone and luveris that could last me another cycle !
My protocol was very similar to yours. (minus the PIO)
I will tell you ..IVF was way more manageable than I thought. Take one day at a time, lean on DH, family friends, and us, and don't forget to breath (seriously this helps in moments of anxiety)  You will be fine, you are a pro at needles, and that is half the battle.
As for the fridge, i hid everything in my produce draws You can also take the drawers out to make more room if you need.
And once you hit stims, it goes by VERY fast.

It looks like we have the same type of protocol. I didn't have to use the Luveris because my LH is always elevated

this may be weird, but im honestly not stressed at all about IVF itself. the whole thing really doesnt bother me at all. it did at first but now that ive accepted it, im actually excited for it. i cant wait to get started!! this waiting is the worst part!!
i think the only 2 things that im stressed about are getting to monitoring appointments around my crazy work schedule, and the PIO shots, which I'm sure will be OK once i do them a few times.
as for my fridge  one veggie drawer has been full of meds for MONTHS. the other one has veggies in it!! i just gave up and put the rest of the meds right on the bottom shelf.. who cares at this point!!
i know Dr. B orders a lot... i have tons of luveris from last cycle that i never used. and lovenox and crinone as well!! now i have even more. i hope i can give some back to him to donate after this cycle ( i wont need it again for awhile)..

Me too! Its in the 20s and 30s without Ganirelix  I was on Ganirelix the entire time I was stimming and I still didn't need the Luveris

I remember getting my first delivery of meds for my first IVF with Dr. B and it was overwhelming. It took me a while to open it all. This time around I got 2 deliveries since he is doing different meds. I don't think my husband even realizes that there are meds in the fridge. Im hoping that we both get pregnant this time around. It is the waiting that drives me crazy. I can do the shots and the rest will come together it is after the transfer for 2 weeks that are the worst. Sending baby dust for both of us.
