Where it all began....

My brother got attacked at a 7-11 last night
He went to buy cigs and this lady was sitting in the passenger seat of a car and he noticed it had no front plate, she starts freaking out yelling at him "why are you looking at my car?" She jumps out of the car and starts scratching at him and rips his shirt. The guy she is with comes out and starts hitting my brother in the head. My brother said the lady was a big gal and she used her weight to pin him against the wall, plus my brother said he couldn't bring himself to hit her she she was a woman. The guy takes off in the car and then comes back and tries to run my brother over!!!! The cops come and they say that they are mentally ill and do stuff like this all the time.  WTH!!!?? Why are they out on the street then. The cops said they can press harassment charges. Ummm why not assault charges??!! He has to go to the station tomorrow to press charges. They also live right around the block from us. lunatics

I'm sure he can press assault & battery charges.

Holy cow, that's crazy!!! Glad to hear that your brother is alright....definitely would've had to seriously think about pressing charges....if the cops know that they do this stuff all of the time, some thing should be done about it!! Kinda crazy on their part that nothing is.

OMG that is just plain crazy, I would definetely tell your brother to press charges against the woman and man insane or sane they need to be put away.I'm glad he is ok. I'm sorry that happened to him.

Holy crap, that is crazy!
Thank goodness he's ok. I would definitely encourage him to speak to a lawyer to find out if he can press assault charges.

How scary! I hate convenience stores.
He def. should press charges for assault against both of them. That's what it was. Plain and simple! Mental issues or not, people just can't attach you in the street.

Honestly, I am curious where this is. I used to live in an apartment complex and there was a couple there that would do things like that. The complex was across form a 7-11. However, I moved out 3 years ago and I do not know if that couple is still around there. It would just be weird if it turned out to be those people. I think that it was an argument I had with them while out on a walk that showed me how protective my dog can be. Sorry for your brother's horrible experience.
