My cervix lengthened!!! (TMI? lol)
Just came back from the peri-natologist and my cervix lengthened!!
It was 4.7 before I got a UTI.
Then it dropped to 3.2, which led me to part-time bed rest.
Last week, it went up to 3.7.
Today it's 4.7-4.9!!!!
Soooo happy!
I wanted a 3D pic today, but the baby was breach and not showing the face, so no such luck. Next time, I hope!!

That's great news! Can you tell me what you did? What's partial bed rest? Mine just dropped to 2.5 and I'm freaking out about having to be put on permanent bed rest. Any tips?

Sure...
They just made me make work my only priority. Then I came straight home. No running out on lunch. No sitting... laying down. My DH was a HUGE help because he wouldn't let me do anything.
From what I understand, the key for me was taking all the pressure off my cervix by lying down a LOT.
Now, they're also saying the reason why it originally got shorter was because of the urinary tract infection, which I took antibiotic for. So, the longer I was healthy from that, the longer my cervix got with the rest.

Thanks! I'll try anything. Laying down it is. Did you go to any parties during that time? I have communions, mother's day, birthdays, showers, you name it, coming up. As long as I'm sitting, it should be okay, no?
